It was June 2018 when 10-year-old Isaac was diagnosed with fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma, a form of liver cancer. The cancer is considered inoperable, and after 9 rounds of chemotherapy no change is the tumor’s size was detected.

After many visits to different hospitals across many states, Isaac and his family found a team of amazing surgeons who took on his case in January of 2019. It was there, in New York, where Isaac received a liver transplant, with his dad his loving organ donor. With the transplant, Isaac conquered cancer and on track for an incredible recovery!
